Charles Price, formerly Professor of Demography at the Australian
National University, Canberra. He currently is a consultant on migration
issues.
Ann Duffield was Assistant Secretary in the Multicultural Affairs
Unit, Department of Premier and Cabinet, Victorian Government. On 4 November
1997 she took up the position as Chief of Staff in the office of the Minister
for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs in Canberra.

for Population and Urban Research, Monash University. Ernest Healy
