Alison McIntosh has recently retired from the Department of Population Planning and International Health at the University of Michigan. She is now living in Melbourne.

Bob Birrell is Reader in Sociology and Director of the Centre for Population and Urban Research, Monash University. Byung-Soo Seol is a postgraduate student in the Department of Anthropology and Sociology, Monash University.

Mohammad Jalal Abbasi-Shavasi is with the Demography Program, Research School of Social Sciences, Australian National University.

Katharine Betts is Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Swinburne University of Technology.

Ray Jureidini is Lecturer in Sociology, Monash University. Ernest Healy is Research Associate at the Centre for Population and Urban Research, Monash University.

Rex Davis is an ARC Research Associate in the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute. Robert Stimson is Director of the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute and Professor of Geographical Sciences and Planning at the University of Queensland.

Ian Dobson is Associate to the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Monash University.
